Our Story

The Noetic Medicine Initiative is founded with the wholehearted support and inspiration of Dr. Andrew Weil and his marvelous team at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine. Together with Dr. Steve Bierman, NMI’s director, they are expanding the materialistic paradigm of modern medicine to encompass the emergent properties that make us human: properties like our ideas, intentions, conceptions, and misconceptions. Welcome to a world where the science of the body and the science of MIND unite to embrace the human condition and advance healthcare throughout the world.

Our Donors

These generous givers recognize that we are more than mere cells and molecules and that a medical system that sees us as nothing more is inadvertently harming us. Their tax-free donations are dedicated to expanding the reductionist paradigm and thereby HUMANIZING the medicine of the future. We are all forever grateful for their profound impact on medicine worldwide.
